Pauvre toute petite Emma-Bee. Elle n’a pas eu une vie facile : abandonnée dehors il y a longtemps, elle a appris à avoir peur, a attrapée le sida félin, a perdu un œil à la suite d’une mauvaise infection pour finalement être recueillie par une bonne personne. Arrivée au refuge au printemps 2009, elle faisait peur à voir : sa fourrure était terne et tellement en mauvais état qu’elle a dû être rasée. Elle était maigre et avait peur de tout le monde et même des autres chats. Après un an, on peut dire qu’elle semble bien plus heureuse et en santé. Elle est toujours calme dans son petit coin mais adore quand on flatte sa belle fourrure toute douce. Compte tenu de son difficile passé et son âge avancé, elle a dû subir des extractions de dents et un détartrage récemment. Elle s’est bien remise de cette opération et mange de nouveau avec appétit. Poor little Emma-Bee. Her life has not been easy: abandoned outdoors a long time ago, she learned to fear, got feline FiV, lost an eye to an infection, before finally being taken into the care of a nice person. When she arrived at the shelter in the spring of 2009, she was a frightful sight: and her fur was dull and in such bad shape that she needed to be shaved. She was so skinny and was afraid of everyone, even of other cats. After one year, we can say that she seems happier and healthy. She is always calm, in her little corner, but loves when we pet her soft coat. Because of her difficult past and her advanced age, she recently needed to have her teeth cleaned and some were extracted. She healed very well after this operation and is now eating well. |
