Welcome to the ARN Web Site!
We are the largest no-kill shelter in Montreal, run entirely by volunteers. Did you know that the province of Quebec has the worst record of animal abandonment in all of North America? Help us change this!

There are many ways you can help us to help the cats and dogs of Montreal, including adopting, fostering, sponsorship, making a donation, and volunteering at the shelter.
Together, we can make a difference!

Star of the week
Time
Time was brought to the shelter in 2001 by a woman who had rescued more cats than she could manage. He loves to climb on our lap and purr like there’s no tomorrow… Despite his diminutive stature, Time has let the other cats know that he does not wish to share this quality time with them! This playful and unbelievably affectionate cat would love nothing more than to be cherished as the only cat of the house.

For more information, please see our adoption page.

Sponsor Needed!
