Hi,  I'm Oreo and I’m just as sweet as the cookie!

I was found out on the street. I was cold, hungry and lonely. I didn't know that things would ever change for me and at first I was scared when my foster moms took me in; Whenever they would give me treats or toys I would always be wary and need a lot of convincing that it was indeed for me. I even used to sleep on the hard floor because it was was I was used to and didn't want to be yelled at for getting comfy on a pillow.

But now, I know that I am a princess and am happier than ever just to have a warm place to sleep. My favorite thing in the world is having my long, silky fur brushed! And my other favorite thing in the world is of course, being petted! Sometimes when I really want a nice belly rub and no one is paying attention to me I will stand up on my hind legs (which makes me look like a little penguin in a tuxedo). And then of course I look so cute that everyone runs to rub my belly! You can always tell when I'm happy because I knead my big fuzzy paws ferociously and purr. 

I'm very cuddly and sociable and if you catch me in the right mood I can be quite chatty! I always miss my foster moms when they're gone to school or work and always come greet them at the door to say hello (and maybe get some treats while I'm at it!). I don't like to be alone and I always follow everyone around the house so I can always be the center of attention!

My favorite pass-times are people watching out the window, trying to catch flies that are outside, sitting on my foster mom's schoolwork when she's studying, and of course, cat napping! 

While my foster moms are pretty cool, what I really want is a real home where I can cat nap forever. I promise that I will love you (and not just because you feed me!) and once you get to know me you will love me too.

Bonjour, je m’appelle Oreo et je suis aussi douce que le biscuit du même nom !
J'ai été trouvée dans la rue. J'avais froid, faim et j’étais perdue. J’étais désespérée et je pensais que les choses ne changeraient jamais pour moi. J'avais peur quand ma « nouvelle maman foyer d’accueil » me prenais dans ses bras. Et j’étais méfiante chaque fois qu'elle me donnait des friandises ou des jouets. Elle a eu beaucoup de patience pour me convaincre que c'était bon pour moi. J'avais même l'habitude de dormir sur le sol dur et froid car j’y étais habitué et ne voulait pas faire disputer si je m’installais sur un coussin doux et chaud.
Mais maintenant, je sais que je suis une princesse qui vit dans un grand château !. Je suis tellement heureuse d’avoir un endroit chaud pour dormir. Mon truc préféré dans le monde est d'avoir ma longue fourrure soyeuse brossée! Mon 2^e truc préféré dans le monde est de me faire caresser! Parfois, quand je veux vraiment un beau câlin et personne ne fait attention à moi, je me tiens sur mes pattes arrières (qui me fait ressembler à un petit pingouin en smoking). Je suis tellement mignonne que tout le monde court pour me câliner mon petit bedon! Vous pouvez toujours savoir quand je suis heureuse parce que je malaxe mes grosses pattes en ronronnant.
Je suis très câline et sociable. Si vous me surprenez dans la bonne humeur, je peux être très bavarde! J'ai m'ennuie toujours de ma maman d'accueil quand elle est sortie. Dès son retour, je viens la saluer à la porte (et peut-être même obtenir quelques friandises ?). Je n'aime pas être seule et je suis toujours tout le monde dans la maison afin de toujours être le centre d'attention!
Mon passe-temps préféré est de regarder par la fenêtre, essayer d'attraper les mouches qui sont à l'extérieur, de m’asseoir sur le travail scolaire de ma maman d’accueil quand elle étudie et, bien sûr, faire une petite sieste!
Même si ma maman d’accueil est plutôt cool, ce que je veux vraiment, c'est une vraie maison où je pourrais passer toute une belle vie. Je vous promets que je vais vous aimerai (et pas seulement parce que vous me nourrirai!) Et une fois que vous apprendrez à me connaître vous allez évidemment m’adorer.
