Lorsqu’elle était petite, Salem pensait avoir trouvé un foyer pour toujours. Mais un jour, son humaine préférée a tout vidé la maison de ses meubles et a donné Salem à une jeune adolescente qui passait par là sur la rue. Celle-ci tout contente rapporta le chat chez elle. Le père n’aimait pas les chats et il a demanda à sa fille de s’en occuper si elle le voulait.

La jeune demoiselle n’a pas respecté son entente. De plus, la pauvre Salem se faisait maltraiter par les autres enfants de la maison. Le père tanné de la situation a mis Salem dans le hangar ou elle a passé quelque jour avant d’arriver dans son foyer d’accueil. Elle était très secouée…

Salem est une belle chatte très vocale. Avec ses dernières expériences, elle est pas très sûre, comment réagir lorsqu’on veut la flatter. Elle tend la tête vers nous, miaule et grogne tout en même temps. Il va lui falloir un peu de temps pour comprendre qu’on ne veut pas lui faire de mal. Elle semble très affectueuse et elle aime bien attirer l’attention en parlant.

When she was just a kitten, Salem thought she had found a home forever. But one day, her favourite human emptied her house and gave Salem to a teenager who just happened to be walking by. This girl was very happy and brought the cat home with her. However, her father didn’t like cats and told his daughter to take care of the cat if she wanted to keep it.

The teenager did not live up to her part of the bargain. Moreover, poor Salem was mistreated by other children in the house. Fed up with the situation, the father put Salem in the hangar where she spent a few days before ending up in a foster home. She was badly shaken by the experience…

Salem is a beautiful and very vocal cat. Given her latest life experiences, she’s not sure how to react when someone tries to pet her. She brings her head forward, meows and growls all at once. She will need a bit of time to understand that we mean her no harm. She seems very affectionate and she likes to draw attention to herself by meowing.
