Message from Roger and Wilhemina, who adopted Happy :

We adopted Happy (or Mr. Happy as he is affectionately called) on May 26th after meeting him the weekend before. He had just lost his mother, his feline companion, his house and he was anything but happy when we first met him. After some preliminary adjustment problems - Mr. Happy is a very shy boy, he slowly started becoming the cat he once was. He is a very loving, lap cat... who actually at times thinks he is a dog who loves playing fetch and begging at the table. He also enjoys 'helping out' in the kitchen - just go to the stove and there he is offering his services. I wonder how he became the size he is? We are hoping of breaking him of some of his more dog-like tendencies, but for now we are focusing on keeping him on a 'cat' diet and concentrating on making him happy. As you will see, my husband and I made him a cat castle - which he thoroughly enjoys.
