Kéoni is a sweet, playful teenager, around 7 months old. He came to us from the wild, rather shy. His evolution has been spectacular, becoming a brave, curious cat full of life. Kéoni loves to play: a simple strand of wool that moves, that hides under a rug or blanket, makes him the greatest hunter of all! He also loves all the little mice, springs and catnip toys. He loves to claw on the rough carpet designed for this purpose, and a big, tall, wide scratching post. It's also easy to trim his claws. Keoni sleeps through the night, quiet as a mouse (and has even started sleeping with his foster family!), but he makes it clear that he must be rewarded with a good play session when he gets up! It's non-negotiable! He's also very greedy, and can sometimes eat very quickly. So he gets several small meals a day, and a puzzle bowl is a plus for him. He really likes pâté and croquettes, and feeds on both. He seems to have a little difficulty digesting protein from all poultry, so he has fish croquettes as well as his pâté and treats. Keoni is adorable and loves to be petted. He's the perfect mix of playful and well-behaved kitten. He can be very quiet, and he can be very active. He loves to be close to us and rest with us. He also loves being on his cat hammock by the window, with the wind breeze. He is still sometimes afraid of sudden gestures or loud noises, so we think he would be uncomfortable with young children. He could live with older children who understand how to interact gently with animals. Keoni will bring a lot of joy into your life, and he deserves the best of families! Kéoni is a kitten therefore the adoption fees for him are $340. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is not tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) or for feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first month following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).
