Grappa a été trouvée errante à Brownsburg-Chatham à l'âge de 3 semaines avec sa soeur Granita. Elle a été nourrie au biberon et puis sevrée. Elle a été placée en cage dans un cabanon avec plusieurs autres chats par une gentille personne qui essayait de sauver ces chats de la rue. Malheureusement, la situation est devenue trop compliquée à gérer pour cette personne et tous les chats ont dû être relocalisés. Étant donné leur tempérament assez doux, Grappa et sa soeur ont été apportées au Réseau Secours Animal en avril 2024. Elle était très apeurée et ne comprenait pas ce qui se passait. Elle va maintenant mieux et vient chercher les câlins! Elle est très joueuse et c'est vraiment ce qu'elle aime le plus faire. En même temps, c'est normal, elle est toute jeune! Elle aime aussi beaucoup les gâteries. Elle n'aime pas se faire manipuler, mais elle se laisse flatter volontiers lorsqu'on l'approche doucement. Elle s'entend très bien avec les autres chats et pourrait vivre avec des enfants. Grappa est un chat adulte donc les frais d'adoption pour elle sont de 290$. Elle est stérilisée, vaccinée, micropucée et négative pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. Grappa was found wandering in Brownsburg-Chatham at the age of 3 weeks with her sister Granita. She was bottle-fed and then weaned. She was caged in a shed with several other cats by a kind person who was trying to rescue these cats from the streets. Unfortunately, the situation became too much for this person to handle and all the cats had to be relocated. Given their rather gentle temperament, Grappa and her sister were brought to the Animal Rescue Network in April 2024. She was very frightened and didn't understand what was going on. She's much better now and comes in for cuddles! She's very playful and that's really what she likes to do most. At the same time, it's normal, she's so young! She's also very fond of treats. She doesn't like to be handled, but she's happy to be petted when approached gently. She gets on very well with other cats and could live with children. Grappa is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption.
