Grumpy a été trouvé errant sur une ferme. Selon le propriétaire des chats errants qui y vivaient, Grumpy se disputait avec les autres chats. Les chats de la ferme ont tous été stérilisés grâce à la SPA mobile en 2022 et les propriétaires ont repris tous les chats sauf Grumpy. Ils ont demandé qu'il soit jeté dehors pour s'en débarrasser... La personne qui s'était occupée de la stérilisation n'a bien évidemment pas voulu faire cela et l'a gardé même s'il était vraiment apeuré et difficile à gérer.  Il lui a fallu un an avant de pouvoir le toucher sur la tête. Difficile à croire puisque maintenant Grumpy est un petit chat parfait. Il est arrivée au Réseau Secours Animal en janvier 2024 afin d'y trouver une famille. Grumpy, qui porte bien son nom puisqu'il a toujours un air un peu grognon, est un chat sociable et très facile maintenant. Il se laisse prendre dans nos bras et caresser même sur le ventre. Il n'a pas eu de problème avec les autres chats du refuge et pourrait vivre sans problème avec des enfants. Grumpy est gourmand et aime aussi jouer. Il a reçu des soins dentaires en janvier 2024. Il n'attend plus que la famille parfaite! Grumpy est un chat adulte donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 290$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné, micropucé et négatif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption.
