A veteran at the shelter (Fergie has been with us since 1998) with a well-established routine, this gentle cat can always be found at his favorite spot on a table. He has developed a wonderful bond with the cats who share this space and they are often seen grooming each other. When we approach him, he greets us with the same old story : � Won�t you adopt me? I�ve been here for too long. � and rubs his head against us. You would think that such a good-natured animal would have found a home in no time, but Fergie is often overlooked because of his shyness. He is indeed too timid to bounce on our laps, but he watches us with his sad, soulful eyes, hoping to be noticed. He would do best in a home with mature children and peaceful cats, as he needs to be handled gently and does not defend himself when attacked.
