Opale arrived at the Animal Rescue Network on December 11th 2022 after leaving the home of an elderly woman who was accumulating cats. Although she hasn't been here long, beautiful Opal is doing well. She is still a bit nervous, but she never stops cooing when you touch her or want to play with her. It's really adorable. She seems to get on well with the other cats in the shelter, but as she is still a bit shy she would not be a good match for a family with children. She likes to play a lot as she is still young. She likes cuddles very much when they are done gently. She has a sweet tooth, but only when offered something fine enough for her fine palate! Opale is older than a year old so the adoption fees for her are $270. She is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it. You will also have access, for the first month following adoption, to a 30 minutes video consultation with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).
