Houmous est arrivé au Réseau Secours Animal en août 2022 après avoir été trouvé errant dans le quartier Saint-Michel à Montréal. Il était un peu craintif, mais démontrait tout de même beaucoup de potentiel d'adoption! Arrivé au refuge, il a commencé à sortir de sa coquille et à nous couvrir de bisous. C'est un chat qui cherche le contact humain, mais qui garde tout de même une légère pointe de timidité. Il s'entend bien avec les autres chats, mais pourrait bien être chat unique. Il pourrait cohabiter avec des enfants, mais seulement si ceux-ci sont assez grands pour bien interagir avec les chats. Houmous est gourmand et donc facile à séduire avec quelques gâteries! Il est assez calme pour son âge, mais peut-être qu'une fois dans sa famille pour la vie il commencera à bouger davantage! Houmous est un chat adulte donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 270$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné et micropucé. Il a été testé négatif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) et pour la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. Vous pourrez avoir recours à l'aide de l'équipe des adoptions aussi longtemps que vous en aurez besoin. Vous avez aussi droit, dans le premier mois suivant l'adoption, à une consultation vidéo de 30 minutes gratuite avec notre consultante en comportement félin FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

Houmous arrived at the Animal Rescue Network in August 2022 after being found wandering in the Saint-Michel district of Montreal. He was a bit shy, but still showed a lot of adoption potential! When he arrived at the shelter, he started to come out of his shell and cover us with kisses. He is a cat that seeks human contact, but still has a slight touch of shyness. He gets along well with other cats, but could be an only cat. He could cohabit with children, but only if they are old enough to interact well with cats. Houmous is greedy and therefore easy to seduce with some treats! He is quite calm for his age, but maybe once in his family for life he will start to move more! Houmous is an adult cat so the adoption fees for him are $270. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it.
