Macaron a été secouru d'une ferme en Beauce où une cinquantaine de chats errants se trouvaient. Une personne ayant le bien-être des chats à coeur a commencé à aider les propriétaires de la ferme afin de reprendre le contrôle de la petite population de chats. C'est ainsi que Macaron est arrivé au Réseau Secours Animal en juin 2021. Il n'était pas méchant, mais simplement traumatisé. Il aura fallu près d'un an pour que Macaron soit mis à l'adoption puisqu'il était très timide. Il a fait tellement de progrès que nous pouvons maintenant envisager pour lui de trouver une famille pour la vie. Il vient maintenant nous accueillir à la porte, il accepte les câlins faits avec douceur et aime beaucoup les gâteries. Macaron apprécie beaucoup la présence des autres chats donc il sera important pour lui de se trouver une maison où il y aura un autre chat sociable qui voudra se coller avec lui. Cela facilitera son adaptation. Macaron, étant donné qu'il est encore timide, ne pourra pas vivre avec des enfants. Il se cherche une famille patiente qui aura le temps de le mettre à l'aise et de l'encourager à s'épanouir à la maison.  Macaron est un chat adulte donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 270$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné, micropucé et négatif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. Macaron was rescued from a farm in Beauce where about 50 stray cats were found. A person with the welfare of cats at heart began to help the owners of the farm to regain control of the small cat population. That's how Macaron came to the Animal Rescue Network in June 2021. He wasn't mean, just traumatized. It took almost a year for Macaron to be put up for adoption since he was very shy. He has made so much progress that we can now consider him finding a family for life. He now comes to greet us at the door, accepts cuddles with gentleness and loves treats. Macaroon enjoys the presence of other cats so it will be important for him to find a home where there is another sociable cat who will want to bond with him. This will make his adaptation easier. Macaron, being still shy, will not be able to live with children. He is looking for a patient family who will have the time to make him comfortable and encourage him to blossom at home. Macaron is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $270. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption.
