Abbie est arrivée au Réseau Secours Animal en juillet 2021 suite à une saisie impliquant la SPCA chez un éleveur ayant 60 chats non stérilisés dans un 4 1/2. Arrivée en piètre état, elle a dû être soignée avant tout chose. Abbie et ses compagnons abyssins ont aussi tous été malades: rhinotrachéites, calicivirus, conjonctivites, etc. Heureusement, maintenant Abbie va mieux et elle est prête à se faire adopter. Elle reste une chatte fragile au niveau de sa santé, donc sa famille doit être en mesure de lui offrir tous les soins dont elle aura potentiellement besoin. Abbie est chatte douce qui a besoin de patience et de douceur. Elle s'entend bien avec les autres chats et cherche une maison où il y aurait un autre chat sociable pour lui montrer le bon exemple. Les jeunes enfants ne seraient pas un bon match pour elle. Elle préférera un environnement calme à la maison. Une pièce fermée est essentielle pour son acclimatation progressive dans sa nouvelle maison. Elle aime les câlins quand on l'approche doucement et est maintenant assez curieuse. Elle adore jouer étant donné son jeune âge donc ce sera très important pour sa famille de comprendre son besoin de stimulation quotidien.  Elle est aussi très gourmande et on peut facilement gagner son coeur avec des gâteries! Abbie aurait un peu plus de deux ans et est un chat de race abyssin, donc les frais d'adoption pour elle sont de 500$. Elle est stérilisée, vaccinée, micropucée et négative pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. She arrived in poor condition and had to be cared for first. Abbie and her abyssinian companions were also all sick: rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, conjunctivitis, etc. Fortunately, Abbie is now better and ready to be adopted. She remains a fragile cat in terms of her health, so her family must be able to offer her all the care she will potentially need. Abbie is a sweet cat who needs patience and gentleness. She gets along well with other cats and is looking for a home with another sociable cat to set a good example for her. Young children would not be a good match for her. She would prefer a quiet environment at home. A closed room where she can slowly start her new life at home is mandatory for her. She loves to cuddle when approached gently and is now quite curious. She loves to play given her young age so it will be very important for her family to understand her need for daily stimulation.  She is also very greedy and can easily be won over with treats! Abbie would be a little over two years old and is an abyssinian cat, so the adoption fee for her is $500. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption.
