Anita, Aragorn, Alexie, Alessio et Aladin sont arrivés au Réseau Secours Animal en juillet 2021 suite à une saisie impliquant la SPCA chez un éleveur ayant 60 chats non stérilisés dans un 4 1/2. Arrivés en piètre état, ils ont tous dû être soignés avant tout chose. La petite Anita était malheureusement très mal en point. En plus d'avoir une grosse plaie à une patte, elle avait un problème intestinal où ses selles s'accumulaient et se durcissaient dans son colon. Elle a dû avoir 2 lavements et 2 hospitalisations. Maintenant, elle est en santé et doit avoir une nourriture riche en fibres pour prévenir des récidives. Anita et ses compagnons aussi tous été malades: rhinotrachéites, calicivirus, conjonctivites, etc. Les abyssins sont des chats fragiles et en maison nous espérons que tout ira mieux pour eux. Anita était une des plus petites des 8 abyssins secourus. Elle fait à peine 2.2kg! Heureusement, maintenant elle va mieux et elle est prêt à se faire adopter. Elle reste une petite chatte timide qui a besoin d'un environnement stable et calme à la maison. Elle adore jouer donc ce sera très important pour sa famille de comprendre non seulement sa santé fragile, mais son besoin de stimulation quotidien. Anita ne sera pas un bon match pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants. Anita aurait un peu moins de deux ans et est un chat de race abyssin, donc les frais d'adoption pour elle sont de 450$. Elle est stérilisée, vaccinée, micropucée et négative pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. They arrived in poor condition and all had to be treated first. Little Anita was unfortunately in very bad shape. In addition to having a large wound on one paw, she had an intestinal problem where her stools accumulated and hardened in her colon. She had to have 2 enemas and 2 hospitalizations. She is now healthy and needs a high fiber diet to prevent recurrence. Anita and her companions have also all been sick: rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, conjunctivitis, etc. Abyssinians are fragile cats and we hope that everything will be better for them in a home. Anita was one of the smallest of the 8 rescued abyssinians. She is barely 2.2kgs! Fortunately, she is now better and ready to be adopted. She is still a shy little cat who needs a stable and calm environment at home. She loves to play so it will be very important for her family to understand not only her fragile health, but her need for daily stimulation. Anita would not be a good fit for a family with children. Anita would be a little less than two years old and is an abyssinian cat, so the adoption fee for her is $450. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV).
