Althaea, à prononcer Altaé, détient son nom d'une plante dite guimauve (ce qui va bien à un chaton gourmand!) ainsi que d'une personnalité grecque, soeur de Leda. Elle a été sauvée d'une ruelle avec ses frères et soeurs là où des gens essayaient de se débarrasser des chats de ruelle. Elle n'avait jamais été en contact avec des humains avant d'arriver dans sa famille d'accueil en août dernier. Elle a été la plus lente à accepter les humains dans la maison. Elle était vraiment apeurée et ne voulait pas manger ou jouer en leur présence. Elle a toutefois fait énormément de progrès grâce aux chats adultes de la maison qui lui ont montré comment avoir confiance en son environnement et son humaine. Althaea est vraiment un chaton adorable dont on tombe en amour rapidement. Elle est magnifique et chaque avancée qu'elle fait est une réussite. Elle a absolument besoin d'une famille qui comprend ses besoins et a l'habitude des chats à socialiser. Juste le transport dans une cage lui fait énormément peur. Elle doit trouver une famille compréhensive et patiente. Elle veut aussi se trouver un chat adulte qui sera son nouvel ami pour la vie puisqu'elle ne peut pas vivre sans autre chat. Elle préfèrera un chat sociable et joueur avec qui partager ses moments de jeux et ses siestes. Elle miaule parfois pour nous retrouver dans la maison et venir ronronner à côté de nous. Elle est jeune donc le jeu est son activité préféré, mais elle n'est pas non plus celle à faire le plus de bêtises dans la maison. Elle mérite la meilleure famille pour la vie et donc toutes les applications seront étudiées avec soin afin de lui trouver le meilleur match. Althaea est stérilisée, vaccinée et micropucée. Elle n'est pas testée pour le FIV et le FeLV donc si vous n'êtes pas à l'aise avec ça, cela ne sert à rien d'appliquer. Elle cherche une famille qui l'aimera comme elle est. 

Althaea, to pronounce Alta-hey, is named after a plant also known as a marshmallow plant (which goes well to a kitten who likes food so much!) and also a greek character, sister of Leda. She was saved from a back alley with her brothers and sisters where people were trying to get rid of stray cats. She had never been in contact with humans before getting to her foster family in August. She was the last one to warm up to her new human. She was really fearful and did not want to eat or play while a human was around. However, she did a lot of progress thanks to the adult cats of the house who showed her how to trust her environment and her human. Althaea is really an adorable kitten with who we fall in love with quickly. She is magnificent and every little step forward is a big victory. She absolutely needs a family who understands her needs and who has experience in socializing cats. Transportation in the cat carrier is extremely scary for her. She needs to find a family who is understanding and patient. She also wants to find an adult cat who can be her new forever friend since she can't live without other cats. She will prefer a social and playful cat to share playtime and naps with. She sometimes meow to find out where we are and come purring next to us. She is young so playing is her favorite activity but she is not the most devilish kitten of the house. She deserves the best forever home so all applications will be carefully reviewed in order to find her best match. Althaea is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She is not tested for FIV or FeLV so if you are not OK with this there is no point in applying. She is looking for a family who will love her the way she is.
