Moi, c’est Chogan (oiseau noir). Comme mon frère Yuma, je suis un chiot actif, curieux et affectueux. Lorsque je serai grand, je vais peser environ 70lbs. Je suis à la recherche d’une famille sérieuse et expérimenté qui m’offriront beaucoup d’amour et d’attention. Je serai vacciné et stérilisé sous peu.

Voici mon histoire ;

Pour commencer, je dois dire que je suis l'image vivante des usines à chiots, car mes parents venaient de cet endroit. Ils vivaient dans une grange abandonnée et insalubre, il y avait des planches avec des clous, des excréments et des déchets partout!! Je le sais car j’y suis né avec mes frères et sœurs. Un jour, pendant que nous étions en train de téter maman, un monsieur est venu les chercher. Pendant que cette personne tirait mes parents à l’extérieur de la grange, j’étais encore accroché à maman (j’avais vraiment soif). Au contact de la neige et du froid, surpris j’ai lâché maman…Au loin, j’ai entendu des coups de feu et j’ai vu le monsieur revenir sans mes parents, il est passé à coté de moi sans me regarder. J’avais froid, je pleurais, j’appelais maman pour qu’elle me ramène au chaud.

Je me rappellerai toujours cette dame qui a sauté la clôture pour venir me chercher, elle m’avait entendu crier à l’aide! Elle m’a pris dans ses bras et m’a rapporté chez elle avec mes frères et sœurs. La gentille dame m’a donné de la nourriture molle, j’ai tout dévoré !! Ensuite, elle m’a placé sur un coussin chauffant car je souffrait d’hypothermie, ouch, ça fait mal de dégelé!! Je suis resté sans bougé pendant quelques heures en chignant. Je m’ennuyais de ma maman!

Pour la 1ère fois de ma vie, j’ai dormi au chaud, j’étais tellement bien que j’ai dormi sur le dos avec les 4 pattes en l'air!

J’espère qu’en lisant mon histoire vous allez comprendre comment les refuges sont important, ils offrent la possibilité à des chiots comme moi d’avoir une 2ième chance dans la vie. De petits gestes comme adopté dans un refuge peux faire une grande différence dans l’industrie des usines à chiots. Svp, pensez à mon histoire et dites NON aux usines à chiots.

Here is my story:

To begin with, I'm the poster child (puppy) for those Puppy Mills, because my parents came from such a place. They were living in an abandoned and unsanitary barn, there were lots of boards with nails sticking everywhere, poop and garbage everywhere !! I know because that was where I was born with my brothers and my sisters. One day, while we were drinking milk from our mom a man came and got them. While this person was dragging my parents outside from this barn, I will still attached to my mommy ( I was sooo hungry). On contact with the snow and the cold, surprised I let go of my mommy... Far away, I heard gun shots and I saw the man come back without my parents, he walked pass me and didn't glanced at me. I was cold, I was crying, I was calling my mommy for her to take me back to the warm place.

I will always remember this lady who jumped over the fence to come and get me, she had heard me cry for help ! She took me in her arms and brought me to her home with my brothers and my sisters. The kind lady gave me some soft food, I ate it all !! And then she put me on a heating pad because I was suffering from hypothermia, yikes, it hurts when you defrost !! I stayed a few hours not moving and whimpering. I was missing my mommy !

For the 1st time in my life, I slept in a warm place, I was feeling sooo good that I slept on my back with my 4 paws sticking in the air !

I hope that by reading my story you will understand how important shelters and rescues are, they offer puppies like me the opportunity of a second chance in life. Little gestures like adopting a pet from a shelter or a rescue may make a huge difference in the Puppy Mill industry. Please think about my story and say NO to Puppy Mills.
